Canadians have done it!!! The National Packaging Protocol goal of diverting 50% of packaging from disposal by 2000 was reached in 1996 - four years ahead of schedule. At Consumers Glass we are particularly proud that Canadians now reuse and recycle 82% of all the glass containers consumed in Canada.
