Who can enter the contest?

If you are in any grade between kindergarten and the final year of high school you are eligible to participate in the contest. Some schools have special clubs that are a combination of grades. That's fine, just register in the category that best represents your group. We also encourage youth groups such as Scouts and Guides to participate. Again, just register in the category that best represents your group.

What are the Contest rules?

1. Your submission must be YOUR ORIGINAL material.
2. If copyrighted material is used, you must include written permission in your submission package to us from the appropriate authority.
3. The school must be in Canada or considered on Canadian "soil" if the school is abroad.
4. The judges and contest management reserve the right to disqualify submissions.
5. Submissions become the property of the Ninth Annual Conservation Video Contest.

We would like to use these videos and audio clips as commercials (Envirommercials©) if we are given the chance, so please keep them short!

Important Submission Tips 1. Label your tape! Specific details are outlined in Production tips. 2. Make sure the information on your submission sheets matches the tape label and the video submission. 3. Include all three submission sheets. We want to make sure that you get credit if you have a winning submission. 4. Get it to us on time!

What is the deadline for video submissions? WE MUST HAVE YOUR VIDEO OR AUDIO TAPE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY March 9th, 2001 We regret that late submissions will not be considered in the judging process. Please don't be late!
